Attorney, Senior Counsel


Christer Söderlund is Senior Counsel at Morssing & Nycander. He joined the firm in January 2017 after four decades at Advokatfirman Vinge, where he served as both Partner and Senior Counsel. Christer is a highly regarded expert in international arbitration. He served on the Board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) from 2007 to 2009 and was appointed by the Swedish Government in 2006 as a member of ICSID’s Panel of Arbitrators, a mandate extended until 2018. He is also listed on the panels of several arbitration institutions, including the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, Kazakhstani International Arbitrage, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Polish Chamber of Commerce, and the ICDR Energy Arbitrators’ List.

Christer’s practice has a global reach, with a focus on investment disputes and the energy sector. He has acted as arbitrator under various arbitration regimes, including SCC, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, and ICSID.
