Attorney, Senior Counsel
Hans Bagner has extensive and diverse experience as a lawyer in both court and arbitration proceedings and is regularly appointed as a chairman or member of international arbitration tribunals. Since the mid-1970s, he has acted as a party lawyer or arbitrator in over 200 international commercial disputes at, among others, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the London Court of International Arbitration, the AAA, the SCC and in ad hoc proceedings.
Hans was the lead attorney for CME in the process at the Svea Court of Appeal where the verdict in an investment-related dispute against the Czech Republic was appealed.
He has been a visiting professor at Louisiana State University (international commercial law) and has lectured at the law program's master's degree in international commercial arbitration at Stockholm University since 2003. Hans is also a recurring speaker at various international arbitration conferences.
Hans was one of the founders of Advokatfirman Vinge and worked there in Stockholm and London for several decades. After his master's degree at the University of Michigan Law School (Ann Arbor), he worked at Squire Sanders in Cleveland, Ohio.
